There will always be

the silence of the fjord

grows deeper into my soul

some kind of fear, maybe

or a strange sort of longing

until the music returns

in its time and in  its place;

invincible for the human heart

moves the waves of time along the earth

like a breeze, embracing our lives

lulling us all to sleep –

so we’re unconscious of the littleness

in believing this will never end; saying:

there will always be another ferry,

let’s be waiting for another ride
